First time visiting Thistledown, wonderful place. Great food, wonderful service from all the staff, will definitely come back again.
Great place to eat. Good views, places for children to play outside and you can even camp there. Cafe is closed Monday and Tuesday, and because it's a popular venue for Sunday lunches its best to book then if there are several people. We didn't, but they still found us a table for two and we enjoyed the informal atmosphere with dogs and children.
Great place to visit with kids as there's plenty of space for them to unwind. Be aware that the pizza restaurant can get seriously booked up, so if you think you want to try this, make sure you book. Also, there can be a bit of a queue for washing facilities. Beautiful location though!
Weve been here a few times and it used to be really friendly and has such nice tasty good food but the food quality has gone right down hill and the food prices have gone up. 35 for some coffee, 2 burgers (12 each) and a bland macaroni cheese (5). Shocking! Wont bother with here again. Dont waste your money, if you want a good burger and a lovely farm shop, go to Jolly Nice. Far better than here.
Lovely place with good views. Friendly staff. The place is laid back. It's one of those park up where you like places. They're my favourite. You can have a campfire. They sell wood. The cafe is excellent. On different days they do different food. Well worth looking out for.
