Ive had three months of problems with teeth giving up the ghost, chipping, breaking, so three visits.First, Neil, had to extract a rear molar, Id had it root canal filled a few years ago but the nerve had never settled.(previous dentist!)It had broke off on the side so removal, (with the root issues,) was really the best option.Never having had a tooth pulled, especially a large upper, I had no idea what would happen. I am mightily relieved Neil carried out the procedure. I shudder what might have taken place at my former practice.It was no easy ride in any case, thinking back to what took place, I am still amazed how pain free it all was and even though Neil issued me some pain relief tablets, I never needed any. I now await an implant and hope that will go as well as the extraction.Next, another, (opposite side molar) tooth broke. Vic dealt with me, an emergency filling covered the hole so my tooth stopped grating against my tongue, then three weeks later,(today) a crown was fitted.I needed four injections but they were administered with care and precision. The prep needed was lengthy and jaw aching but as if by magic a crown was made onsite while I recovered and fitted in an hour and forty five minutes. (The whole procedure). Currently it aches, more like a very tired muscle thats been pushed all the way, but not tooth ache.If you want pain free dentistry, with care and professionalism, then I recommend you try HRS, Stonehouse.
I was looking for a new dentist after having a filling fall out a few times and being told that they would have to use an amalgam filling if it fell out again. I didnt want to use amalgam and found HRS Dental when looking for dental practices that dont use amalgam. I was very scared to get my filling done after having a bad experience with my previous dentist when the anaesthetic did not work properly and it was painful. I saw Vik, who was very friendly and made me feel at ease. I was assured that the treatment would be painless and I didnt feel a thing. I am very happy with the dental work I received and would highly recommend HRS Dental care.

Having waited nearly 20 between trips to the dentist a painful tooth was enough to find me in the waiting room of HRS Dental Care. I shouldn't have worried though as the friendly staff and a welcome cup of coffee while I waited for the inevitable successfully took my mind off the procedures to come. A couple of visits later, (painless ones, even the injections!!), and having been able to see dentist and hygienist on the same visit, my teeth felt like new ones. Nice people giving great service, can't ask for more can you?
