A nice, smiling friendly reception. Asked us to choose our table. A wide and varied menu that showcases Indian food at its best. Food was really nice. All starters, mains and sides could not be faulted. Attentive and friendly service throughout, without being overbearing. A real treat.
Very disappointed with this visit, staff were ok, food was ok but not up to its usual standard (popadoms where stail) and when we came to pay the bill was bill on the credit card machine was 60 more than the price on the written bill. When the staff memeber was questioned he said it was because we agreed to the service charge. 60 service charge are you kidding me. This was corrected when pointed out but had we not noticed we would be 60 worse off.
Delicious food, attentive service, competitive prices, tasteful surroundings. Highly recommended.
Terrible service. The waiter spoke really rudly to us and told us to order quickly and leave. We were just in stonehouse for a day and felt we'd been better off ordering takeaway. Food was predominantly sweet and lacked flavour.
The dining room and the food was very good. If I was to try and be critical I found that the staff weren't as personable as every other Indian restaurant I've ever been to, but can't fault it otherwise.
